About TimberFlare

TimberFlare is a three-person espresso-accessory brand founded by Li Yuan and operating since 2025. The two artisans behind the handles are mangoleaf and C.Y.Water. Each handle is selected, shaped, turned, fitted, finished, and inspected by one of them over five to seven working days. Finished pieces are one-of-one and are not reissued.

The catalog focuses on hand-finished wood, burl, wood-resin, lacquer, and aluminum handles for bottomless portafilters. Portafilter heads are removable and made from 304 stainless steel. Current supported groups include La Marzocco 58mm, Breville 54mm and 58mm, and Classic 58mm platforms such as Gaggia Classic and Rancilio Silvia.

TimberFlare is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the espresso-machine brands named on this page. Brand names are used only to identify compatibility.
